Lineups:

LAFC have close to who you would expect to start. Kenneth Vermeer is indeed the No. 1 in goal, while Dejan Jakovic has gotten the nod at center back and Francisco Ginella gets the surprise start ahead of Eduard Atuesta, who isn’t even in the 18 for this one.
Meanwhile, Club León have a video for a lineup graphic, come on now. Anyway, it’s a strong lineup for Nacho Ambriz.

The season is here, as Los Angeles Football Club are kicking off their 2020 slate by jumping into the lion’s den of Concacaf Champions League for the first time, as they take on Club León Tuesday night in León, Guanajuato.
The club has had four preseason games to tune up for the Liga MX side, currently third in their league, and LAFC has yet to play with what would be considered a true “full strength” side. What will their lineup look like? We’ll find out! Between injuries in preseason and legitimate questions about the right side of the defense there are more questions than usual heading into the first game of the season for LAFC.
This is the first of a two-game aggregate series against León, so here’s the rundown of the possibilities for LAFC in this game: A win is ideal, fantastic, although the job won’t be done; a draw would be truly very good with a return leg at home; a one-goal loss won’t be the worst thing in the world; losing by 3+ goals would make the return leg a real depressing encounter.

Odds:

According to Bovada, as of first publishing of this post, LAFC are road underdogs (+350) while León are favored (-165). The odds of a draw are (+310), so LAFC has a decent shot for a result in the eyes of the bookmakers.
