We have been patiently and not so patiently waiting for the second season of Derry Girls and we finally have gotten our first glimpse.
Channel 4 has finally released the trailer for the second season and our favorite group is back and it looks like it's going to be better than ever.
The show, which was written by Lisa McGee, was an instant hit last year as everyone seemed to fall in love with the girls.
The show was released back in January 2018 and it soon became the most watched series in Northern Ireland since modern records began.
They won Best Comedy at the IFTA Gala Television Awards and Lias took home an award for the Best Writer for Comedy/Soap.
A soon as the show ended it was quickly announced that we would be getting a second of the show.
Since it was first released on Channel 4 it has recently been added to Netflix US and has been a huge hit in the US as well.
Derry honored the show recently by painting a mural of the cast on the wall of a building in Derry city.
There has been no release set for the show yet, however, the trailer revealed that the second season will be 'Coming Soon'.
